History

Vincent COLLIGNON - PDG The origins of the company date back to the late nineteenth century. In 1898 Auguste Collignon founded, with the creation of a first plant in Deville (Valley of the Meuse), COLLIGNON's industrial dynasty which continues today under the leadership of his great grand-son Vincent Collignon, current CEO of the company. A second plant was opened in 1911.

It's in the early 70s that the company operates a strategic shift by abandoning the cast iron and malleable iron to concentrate on the manufacture of cast steel (in factory Carbonnière) and cast GS (in factory St Eloi), turning resolutely towards the European market.

This orientation was crucial to ensure the sustainability of the company and continues to produce positive effects by creating a corporate culture focused on technological innovation and International expansion. This strategy would not be successful without a strong commitment of the company both in quality and customers service.
